A Great Opportunity for Parents!
Families can save 75% on a week of camp for their first child and 50% for a second child in their immediate family by volunteering in our Camp Kitchen for a week! Parents interested in volunteering as Group Leader for a week can save 40% on a week of camp for their first and second child in their immediate family (limited spots available). Please note that the discount value varies for Horse Lovers’ and LIT Camps.
Prior to completing a Parent Volunteer application, we strongly recommend registering your children first to ensure we have room for them.

Parent Volunteers can either apply to serve in a support role at camp by volunteering in the kitchen OR they can apply to volunteer as a camp group leader.
Kitchen volunteers will help prep, serve, and clean up for meals for our overnight campers and staff. These volunteers will have limited interaction with campers and while you will see your child daily, you will not be in a supervisory role. In order to be accepted as a Parent Volunteer in the kitchen, we require: A completed volunteer Parent Volunteer – Kitchen Volunteer Application, two character references, and a clear police/vulnerable sector search police check.
Wondering what your week would look like?
Parent Volunteers who have campers registered in our overnight camp program are expected to volunteer in the kitchen on Sunday evening and from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Friday (minimum ½ hour morning break and 1 ½ hour afternoon break will be provided). All meals are provided and accommodations may also be available for you during the week.
Parent Volunteers who will be commuting daily and have campers registered in our Day Camp program are expected to volunteer in the kitchen from 9 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Lunch and minimum ½ hour afternoon break are provided.
All submitted applications are subject to review and a discount will be applied upon Parent Volunteer acceptance.
Parents who are interested in volunteering in a position that has a more direct role working with children and youth are encouraged to apply to be a group leader for our day camp or overnight camp. In order to be accepted as a Group Leader Parent Volunteer, we require: A completed Parent Volunteer – Group Leader Application, two character references, one spiritual reference, and a clear police/vulnerable sector search police check. Applicants will also participate in an interview and complete either in-person or online staff training sessions.
All submitted applications are subject to review and a discount will be applied upon Parent Volunteer acceptance.
Wondering what your week would look like?
Parent Volunteers who have campers registered in our overnight camp program are expected to volunteer Sunday evening and from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday (minimum 1 hour break will be provided each day). All meals are provided and accommodations may also be available for you during the week.
Parent Volunteers who will be commuting daily and have campers registered in our Day Camp program are expected to volunteer from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm Monday to Friday. Lunch is provided.
